#SocialExpansion: Tik Tok takes on food delivery
Updated: Feb 4, 2022
Friday, video-sharing platform, Tik Tok, announced a new partnership with Virtual Dining Concepts to launch delivery-only restaurants across the United States, beginning March 2022.
With over 1 billion users monthly, Tik Tok's expansion into delivery-only services comes as no

surprise as they continue to find creative solutions to both optimize user retention and expand into e-commerce in a way never done before.
According to Virtual Dining Concepts Co-Founder Robert Earl, the Tik Tok Kitchens are expected to launch more than 1,000 locations throughout the country by the end of 2022.
Consumers can expect to see the app's most viral food trends on the menu including the ranked by Google "most-searched dish of 2021," baked feta. Other items on the starter menus include corn ribs, pasta chips and more. The menus will start by changing quarterly, offering possible expanded partnerships for viral food creators and restaurants not included in the initial launch.
TIP: Food creators looking to leverage the chance to participate in the Tik Tok Kitchens should review current strategy KPI's and implement optimization goals starting Q1.
