TikTok talks unique retail path to purchase
Earlier this month, TikTok released new insights of their modern, non-linear take on today's customer purchase path -- the "infinite loop."
According to Tik Tok, the new infinite loop journey accounts for a more non-traditional, non-linear customer funnel as customers, "often enter, exit, and re-enter at different stages of the purchase journey based on their needs."

With this infinite loop idea, the platform is hoping to address one-time purchases and nurture longer-lasting customer connections.
