Twitter rolls out 'Safety Mode' to english-speaking markets

Twitter announces another wave of trial rollouts for the auto-blocking feature - Safety Mode Tuesday.

Originally introduced to a small group of beta testers last September, Safety Mode is now available to users in english-speaking markets as the forum-style platform awaits more feedback.

Safety Mode serves as an auto-blocking option, blocking potentially offensive and uninvited interactions from other users.

The safeguard allows the user to set a duration period for the auto-blocking and provides a list of auto-blocked accounts to review.

Safety mode can be found in the privacy and safety setting.
