Twitter tests 'Articles' feature for long-form content

Since Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey's announcement that the company is seeking to expand into longer tweets (leading to the 2017 release of the 280 character length tweet) in 2016, the platform has relied on threads as story-telling and long-form updates.


However, rumors of a much more direct option has peered as reverse engineer expert Jane Manchun Wong spotted this new test:


The potentially new option called 'Articles' appears to integrate blog-type posting into the tweet deck. Though functionality details are still unclear, according to a spokesperson details about "new ways to keep people start and engage in conversation" will be shared soon.
